Annual. Elegant yet frilly pompoms of soft pink-blush blooms on short stalks. We were smitten by this variety in our 2023 trials. Flowers in its first year. Grows only 3’-4’ high, making it a dwarf hollyhock.

Growing recommendations
We have a hard time obtaining a high germination rate for this variety (typically only around 60% so seed accordingly!) but we keep offering it because it's so special. Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Transplant 18”-24” apart in full sun (they will tolerate partial shade).

The trialing allows us to test varieties of a same species side by side and determine which one(s) taste and perform the best.
Breeding and variety maintenance means selecting for traits that are desirable such as flavor, texture, disease resitance, earliness and hardiness, just to mention a few.
