A sweet early cabbage producing round heads on the small side – roughly 2kg. Very dense and compact, use smaller spacing than you would for other cabbages. Crisp and juicy when fresh, does not store well (as for most summer cabbages). Great for home gardeners.

Growing recommendations
Seed indoors in April-May and transplant in May-June. Transplant every 24’’ in rows 30’’ apart.

Alternately, you can choose to pick up your order at the farm in Farrellton, QC.

This is the most challenging and thrilling part of our work.
The trialing allows us to test varieties of a same species side by side and determine which one(s) taste and perform the best.
Breeding and variety maintenance means selecting for traits that are desirable such as flavor, texture, disease resitance, earliness and hardiness, just to mention a few.
