These double bloom calendulas are easy to grow and produce many intense burnt-orange flowers on long stems. Excellent for cut flowers, the plants do well in pots or in the garden.

Growing recommendations
Easy to grow annuals. Seed indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost or directly in the garden after the risk of frost has passed. Cover only lightly with soil. Space plants 12” apart. Once the seeds have germinated, be careful not to overwater (keep the soil just damp below the surface).

Alternately, you can choose to pick up your order at the farm in Farrellton, QC.

This is the most challenging and thrilling part of our work.
The trialing allows us to test varieties of a same species side by side and determine which one(s) taste and perform the best.
Breeding and variety maintenance means selecting for traits that are desirable such as flavor, texture, disease resitance, earliness and hardiness, just to mention a few.
