This striking annual produces abundant blooms in rich cranberry-rose hues. Well-suited for fresh arrangements and exceptional as a dried flower, it retains its vibrant color beautifully. Plants are hardy, drought-tolerant once established, and can reach up to 5 ft tall, making a dramatic addition to the garden.

Growing recommendations
(Helichrysum bracteatum) Annual. Direct seed in late may or start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost and transplant seedlings in late May or June. Space plants 8“-12” apart. Full sun always.

Alternately, you can choose to pick up your order at the farm in Farrellton, QC.

This is the most challenging and thrilling part of our work.
The trialing allows us to test varieties of a same species side by side and determine which one(s) taste and perform the best.
Breeding and variety maintenance means selecting for traits that are desirable such as flavor, texture, disease resitance, earliness and hardiness, just to mention a few.
