A cheerful mix of Iceland poppies with large, papery blooms in shades of white, yellow, and orange. Plants grow 12–18 inches tall with slender stems, adding bright color to borders and garden beds. Early blooming and easy to grow in cool conditions.

Growing recommendations
(Papaver nudicaule) Annual. Sow seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost, or directly outdoors in early spring when soil is cool. Sow very lightly on the surface and press gently; do not cover, as light aids germination. Space plants 6–8 inches apart. Germination occurs in 10–20 days at 55–65°F. Keep soil evenly moist and remove spent flowers to extend bloom.

The trialing allows us to test varieties of a same species side by side and determine which one(s) taste and perform the best.
Breeding and variety maintenance means selecting for traits that are desirable such as flavor, texture, disease resitance, earliness and hardiness, just to mention a few.
