Frizzy Lizzy Mustard is a unique and eye-catching variety with finely frilled, curly leaves that add texture and flavor to salads and stir-fries. Quick to grow and ideal for early harvests, it’s great for spring and fall gardens.

Growing recommendations
Direct sow outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked in spring, or in late summer for a fall harvest. Can be harvested as baby-leaf or full leaves. Plant in full sun to partial shade, spacing plants about 8 inches apart. Keep soil consistently moist for best growth, and harvest young leaves as needed to encourage continuous production.

The trialing allows us to test varieties of a same species side by side and determine which one(s) taste and perform the best.
Breeding and variety maintenance means selecting for traits that are desirable such as flavor, texture, disease resitance, earliness and hardiness, just to mention a few.
