We can’t get enough of these snacking peppers developed by Johnny’s Selected Seeds. Each plant produces peppers of a single colour, and the packet contains an even mix of all three. These compact plants produce abundant, crisp, and juicy fruits with a hint of jalapeño flavour — but none of the heat. Perfect for snacking fresh, adding colour to salads, or grilling whole. Early and productive, these peppers bring a sweet, aromatic touch to any garden or plate.

Growing recommendations
Seed peppers in flats or cell trays 1/4”deep 8 weeks before last frost (seed late March to mid-April). Pepper seeds are slow to germinate, especially in cool soil, so keep soil moist and be patient. Transplant 18”-24” apart in early June.

We're trialing and breeding new varieties!
This is the most challenging and thrilling part of our work.
The trialing allows us to test varieties of a same species side by side and determine which one(s) taste and perform the best.
Breeding and variety maintenance means selecting for traits that are desirable such as flavor, texture, disease resitance, earliness and hardiness, just to mention a few.
You're one of a kind
If you're not 100% satisfied with your purchase, let us know and we'll make it right!
But we'd also love to hear from you if you see something wicked cool in your garden or if you know of a variety in need of stewardship.
