The best summer radish. Red and round, it grows much bigger than other varieties without splitting or growing fibrous. Also bolt resistant. Does best in the shoulder season, but can be sowed in succession all summer long.

Growing recommendations
Radishes can be grown early in the spring and throughout the summer though they do best in the shoulder seasons. Direct seed 1” apart, at 1/4” depth in rows 15” apart. Radishes grow quickly so seed multiple successions from early spring until late summer for continuous harvest.

The trialing allows us to test varieties of a same species side by side and determine which one(s) taste and perform the best.
Breeding and variety maintenance means selecting for traits that are desirable such as flavor, texture, disease resitance, earliness and hardiness, just to mention a few.
